Are you available for events and on-site chair massage?Yes! Massage & Movement is available for office & corporate events, bridal showers & bachelorette parties, retirement parties, spa days, sporting events and more! I will bring a special massage chair instead of a table which requires less space and allows the participants to remain fully clothed. Sessions are typically performed in 10, 15 or 20 minute increments depending on the number of people attending, and focus on the back, shoulders, neck and arms. $119+ per hour (2 hour minimum) and a $50 deposit is required to hold the date. (Additional travel fees and/or parking fees may apply). Please contact me for more information, I'd love to help make your event a success!

Which payment methods do you accept?Massage & Movement conveniently accepts checks, credit cards (MasterCard, Visa, & American Express) Venmo and cash (change not provided). Payment is due at time of service.

How do I prepare for my in-home massage?You won't have to do much other than relax at home and wait for my arrival! Here are a few things to keep in mind.... Please make sure you have adequate space on the first floor for me to set up and maneuver around the massage table. A 6 by 9 foot area (about the size of a large dining table) is needed either indoors or out. Outdoor sessions can be wonderful, but you need to check the weather and consider the time of day. Burning sun, rain, and mosquitos can ruin even the best massage! I will bring a massage table, linens, lotions and music. If you tend to get cold, have a large bath towel or light blanket handy. Wear comfortable clothing, I will leave the area while you undress to your comfort level and get on the massage table. I will need access to a sink (restroom or kitchen) to wash my hands before and after our session. Your appointment time is my arrival time. Please consider additional time when booking (15 min set up and 15 min break down) Allowing 1.5 hours for 60 minute session or 2 hours for a 90 minute session. Sit back, relax and wait to enjoy your in-home session! (Please note that all in-home sessions are scheduled to include an additional 30 minutes for set up and check out. Your session time will not be extended due to interruptions that occur in the home (package delivery, non-emergency phone calls, pets, etc.) causing either a late start or breaks during the massage session. Cancellations/Rescheduling?Life happens! In the event that you are unable to keep your scheduled appointment, please contact Michele by phone, email or text message at least 24 hours prior to your massage. There is no charge for cancellations or rescheduled appointments with 24 hour notice. Cancellations outside this time frame, may be required to pay 50% of the session cost as booked before you can schedule another session. Missed appointments/no-shows, will be required to pay the full cost of the treatment, and pre-payment in full to schedule future sessions.
